Doris Nickel - IBC Warrior

twinkling star image

Doris was diagnosed on July 22, 2004, at the age of 65.

Doris

My mother began drinking Essiac tea about 2 days after her diagnosis. In a week's time, she felt that the tumor was beginning to shrink, as she could tell by appearance. The following week she began chemo.

Five days after the first chemo, the oncologist couldn't even find what had been a 3 cm tumor on a lymph node under her left arm. One day after her first chemo and two weeks into drinking the Essiac, her breast specialist commented that the 7 cm tumor appeared to be shrinking already, giving credit to the chemo she had had the day before. RIGHT!

I totally believe the Essiac did just as well a job as chemo, but we shall never really know because the doctors scared the crap out of her, and she began chemo so quickly.

Today, though she is doing great. In fact, she seems healthier than ever, although she did receive 6 rounds of dose-dense chemo (supposed to have had 8, but we said NO to the last two), 28 rounds of radiation, and a modified mastectomy. Other than the scars and rib spasms due to the scar tissue she is doing GREAT!

I hope other women will try natural alternatives, even as a complement to their traditional treatment. Google Essiac and you will find hundreds of testimonials. We get our Essiac from www.essiac-herbal.com.

God Bless Us All.

Bring on the Rain

Another day has almost come and gone
Can’t imagine what else could go wrong

Sometimes I’d like to hide away
somewhere and lock the door
A single battle lost but not the war

'cause tomorrow’s another day
And I’m thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain

It’s almost like the hard times circle ‘round
A couple drops,
and they all start coming down

Yeah, I might feel defeated,
And I might hang my head
I might be barely breathing -
but I’m not dead

'cause tomorrow’s another day
And I’m thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain

No, I’m not gonna let it get me down
I’m not gonna cry
And I’m not gonna lose any sleep tonight

'cause tomorrow’s another day
And I am not afraid
So bring on the rain

Tomorrow’s another day
And I’m thirsty anyway
So bring on the rain

Bring on, bring on the rain

No, I'm not gonna let it get me down
I'm not gonna cry.

So bring on the rain

Bring on, bring on the rain

Bring on the rain

Bring on the rain

Bring on the rain
