Susan
My sister, Susan, was diagnosed in April of 2003. The cancer was in
one breast and had spread to her lung. She began chemo. She had chemo
all this past summer, then she went to have radiation, but the cancer
had come back quickly (on her skin), so they decided to go ahead with
the mastectomy.
They followed that with more radiation and chemo. That
was all this fall and until right after Christmas. She is now on the
drug Femara (a pill), since she was hormone positive.
Her latest scans show no cancer in the lungs, but a spot on her pelvic
bone, which may or may not be cancer. Right now they are just
continuing with the drug, Femara.
Through all this time Susan has done great. She has had few side
effects and few "bad" days. She is amazingly optimistic and happy. I
know it is because of the prayer that is coming her way.
Please keep her in your prayers, Susan of West Columbia, SC.
I have enjoyed reading the cases in this web-site, and I pray for an
end to this devastating disease.
