Hi everyone,

My name is Susan, I have IBC. I got my dx a month and a half after I turned 46, boy what a day. I thought my world had come to an end and was scared to death.

But as we all do I rolled up my sleeves and began to fight. I had 4 rounds of FEC followed by 4 rounds of Taxotere. I had a MRM on the left breast only on April 4. I will start my radiation on 5-7-07.

I feel I have been blessed as I have had minimal side effects from the chemo and very little problems from the surgery.

I have a wonderful husband Mark and really cool son Todd. They have both been wonderful through this whole mess.

My sister has been my angel. She has been to most of my appointments and tests and has held my hand through it all.

I am thankful to all the people who care and support me through my journey and am here to fight to stay with all of them.

I look forward to the day I am NED and many years of life with my family.
